Holly Knoch is a violinist from Dallas, Texas. She began her musical studies at the age of five. Holly holds a Bachelor of Music for violin performance from the University of Houston, and a Masters of Music for violin performance from the California Institute of the Arts. She most recently studied under the tutelage of Andrew McIntosh at CalArts, and has previously studied with Kirsten Yon of the University of Houston, and Martha Walvoord of the University of Texas at Arlington. While earning her degrees, Holly played with many orchestras including the Galveston Symphony Orchestra and the American Youth Symphony. She also participated in many collaborative group performances with The Ensemble at CalArts, REDCAT, and the CalArts Period Instrument Ensemble.
