Strings Workshop Afternoon - Sunday, October 11 in South Pasadena
Back to school, back to LAB! Join us for a refresher afternoon on baroque string technique led by LAB's artistic director Lindsey Strand-Polyak with artistic associate cellist Eva Lymenstull.
Free for LAB members, $30 for not-yet members, and $10 for student not-yet members. For newcomers: baroque bows and instruments are optional, but if you are bringing a modern instrument please tune down to A=415 before you come. Gambas of all sizes are welcome to join for insights into baroque orchestral fundamentals and styles.
Please bring a small dish or drink to share at the post-session potluck!

3:30—3:45 Break with tea & cookies
3:45—4:45 Tutti: concerto grosso workshop & play-through
4:45—5:30 Potluck!
